The prestigious Haynes International Motor Museum is a living and working museum with the largest collection of cars, bikes, classic cars and exciting super cars of today. If you're a motor enthusiast then this museum is a must visit for all ages!
The museum is incredibly family-friendly and you'll be able to enjoy strolling around the museum and letting them play too! they have an outdoor play area with an adventure climbing frame, and interactive garage and mini road systems, themed play and a construction zone with super diggers to ride on!
There's plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Learn how a car works or paint a Mini, have a go on the karts and so much more.
There are 17 exhibition areas with a collection of veteran, vintage and classic cars which tell the story of motring history.
As well as the museum there is a large private test circuit where you can have a few laps of the tracks. They have adult and children karts as well as side by side karts and it's the same tarmac that Jenson Button practiced on! It's a great activity for a birthday but also an opportunity to practice your skills!
Some of the exhibitions include Ferrari: The Man and The Machine where the museum unveils the human side of the story of the car. Understand what lies beneath the shiny metal and where it originated from.
The Hall of Motorsport has a range of competition cars of all shapes and sizes too and the Wheels Around the World has cars from Canada, Germany and India!
The Museum is situated just off the A303 near Sparkford on the A359 Sparkford to Castle Cary Road.
