About this activity

Chillingham Wild Cattle Park is the perfect fun family day!  The park contains wild cattle and many other interesting creatures like Roe Deer and Fallow Deer, while the Red Squirrels, Foxes and Badgers are harder to spot! So what are you waiting for? It's a fun and active day out for all.

The park is also home to over 50 species of birds, and is the most northerly outpost of the Nuthatch! The lower part of the park contains a tangle of alder trees and looks much as it was in medieval times, so enjoy taking in the stunning views.

These unique cattle fight for the chance to mate. The guided tours are a chance to learn about them and their behaviour. The guided tours take you close, but not too close, to these extraordinary animals!

Along wiht this, they now offer specialist photography tours at a cost of £75 for one person, or £50 per head up to a maximum of 5 people.
