About this activity

Northumberland Zoo covers approximately 10 pretty acres with plenty of animals to see and pet and is located in rural Northumberland in close proximity to the A1 for easy access. So what are you waiting for? It's the perfect day out for all the family.

Northumberland Zoo covers animals including meerkats, miniature donkeys, a skunk, rabbits, guinea pig, ferrets, a raccoon, micro pigs, miniature Shetland ponies, donkeys, a fox, goats and many different breeds of hens!  A number of theur animals are rescue animals brought in from the RSPCA; they provide bags of animal feed at 50p each.

As if all that wasn't fun enough, they have a train-ride for kids which runs when it’s not raining. There’s also a play area with swings, playhouse, climbing frame and curly slide! They have 3 sizes of kids’ ride-on tractors, from a small one without pedals to 2 larger ones for the bigger kids!
