The site has held a Green Glaf award since 2009 and it's a great pitstop for walkers and a hot drink and a slice of cake! You can sit and enjoy the wondeful scenery if the weather's nice and take in the beautiful surroundings. You can wander along the one mile riverside circular walk too before visiting the Cirle of Legends.
For the little ones, there is an Explore and Create family activity pack full of ideas for exploring the site. Don't forget to stop by and say hello to Ostin which is the Old Station's Dormouse! There's also a large play area and a 30 metre zip slide too to enjoy!
There are three railway carriages on site too. Two of them contain a gift shop and an exhibition area with lots of information about the area. The third carriage houses railways objects and a work in progress scale model of the station from the 1930s.
They also have miniature train rides too and lots of open space to run and play in so the kids can burn off some energy!
