Werribee Open Range Zoo

200 hectare property with many of Africa’s most iconic animals, as well as wildlife indiginous grasslands of Asia, North America and Australia, who move in natural fashion through completely open range landscape.

Entry includes a Safari Tour in their bus, a good way to see most of the zoo first and plan your trip. There are also landscape and walking tours available to explore the enclosed terrain populated by peaceful animals.

Special exhibits include one of the largest Gorillas exhibits in the world, the Kubu River Hippos experience, Serval Cat Demonstration and Lion exhibit.

How much does it cost?

Adults: $26.10

Children: $12.90 Monday to Friday, outside holidays.

Free Under: U3s always, U15s on weekends, Victorian public holidays and Victorian government school holidays.

Need a little extra help?

Werribee Open Range Zoo has an easy-to-follow pathway system, with access for people using wheelchairs and pushers, plus several accessible toilets, and accessible vehicle tours.
