The Koala Hospital recommends that anyone who wants to visit the animals they treat be at least five years old (as anything younger than that might be too impatient to sit still long enough to really appreciate the visit). They also suggest that kids be given plenty of breaks, and that they bring some noise-cancelling headphones to block out the background noise. They also recommend that parents keep an eye on the amount of time spent at the hospital, as the experience can be very tiring for kids.Suggest an edit
Visiting koalas is a unique opportunity to get up close to these beautiful creatures, and to learn more about their lives and habitat. An encounter with a koala is a special experience you can’t get anywhere else. Be sure to bring a bag of eucalyptus leaves with you if you want to really show these guys some love!
