A very nice art museum surrounded by a wonderful atmosphere. Maybe San Antonio's best art museum.

Did not have a good experience at this museum at all. I love the other museums here in San Antonio but this one takes the cake for being the worst. Despite being in a beautiful location. It is not worth the $15 dollars. Which I don't mind paying but not worth it. I felt stalked by the staff. Walking behind me everywhere I went. The rude stares from the staff, not friendly at all. felt uncomfortable. Not a good experience over all. Mrs. Mcnay would not approve. Haha. Just saying. Would not recommend. What a shame.

Some staff overly helpful, overall a great experience and worth the money. It's a great place to visit as part of a date.

nice place to take pictures but certainly not worth the $20 charge (that is very little advertised) I literally had to search for the charge on the website after being rudely approached from the security officer there. After paying the $20, the security officer was just stalking our every move and made it feel very uncomfortable. To make things worst there was a water fountain we were taking photos with that was supposed to operate until 7 and he turned it off 25 minutes early in the middle of us taking photos. I am not going back to this place...Read More

The McNay is so beautiful, both the outside and inside. It is an older mansion that has been turned into an art studio. It has to have the best pieces of art in Texas. They have original Picasso's without the normal crowds of larger, art museums.

I am not going back to this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else unless you want to overpay and be stalked during your experience. There are plenty of other free areas that are much nicer to take photos in San Antonio, go have a good experience elsewhere.
