Awesome place for a 3-4 hours. Right next to the I-15. The museum is exclusive with planes from the last 50 years and real life. Kids just love the place and are in awe of the magnificent fighting machines. Displays the heroes of the US Air Force especially Utah and their sacrifices to defend democracy and freedom worldwide, very inspiring. Must visit if you plan to visit Utah. Though free it is well maintained.

Lived it. I remember coming as a kid and loving it. I now have a family and just moved to the area. This is one of the first places we visited.

I visited last Aug. and was impressed. The museum is very well laid out and there is quite a display. A great selection of Cold War era aircraft as well as the other eras. I spent 2 1/2 hours and I wish I could have spent more time there but, had to run. At least tree hours is needed to see everything. One big problem though. I was disappointed at their “Sky Rat” AKA pigeon problem on the outside exhibits. There certainly needs something to alive ate the problem. Also was disappointed at the state of the B-29 and especially the B-47. Some serious restoration need to be done to them as well as some of the other outside aircraft need some painting done. Still one of the best air museums I’ve been to.Well worth the stop!!!

If you have any sons who love planes you really should make this a stopping point. There are dozens of military plans on display and it’s free.
