About this activity
Elk Motorsports offers fun adventure for all over 8's - it's most popular with 8-14 year olds! The single engine 160cc Honda 4 stroke engine race is tuned to reach speeds up to 50 mph; it also features tillet lightweight racing seats with an exciting flat top racing steering wheel! They offer timed sessions for all those 8+, the GP races, solo endurance and team endurance sessions for those 17+. As well as this, their new 1200 metre circuit was designed with the driver in mind. It has long straights and fast flowing bends, giving the circuit a little bit of everything for any budding racing driver. This ensures maximum conering composure and that racing feel. Go and drive the circuit yourself; with the latest investment in the latest Apex Timing System, you will have all your results emailed to you at the end of your session and be able to compare with all your friends or with your previous personal best.
All their karts are twin engine pro karts, regularly serviced and safety inspected, insuring you get the most enjoyment out of your karting experience and maximum safety. If you have any questions or safety concerns they are happy to answer queries and put your mind at rest!

They are located opposite newark showground, just off the A46. From Newark, take the third exit and from Lincoln, the first exit (A133/Drove Lane roundabout). They are only 10 minutes from Lincoln and 25 minutes from Nottingham.

A 30 minute timed session is £40 for 17+. The GP race is £55 for an hour, and solo endurance is £55.
Children
A 30 minute timed session is £35 for 8-16 years.

There are several restaurant and cafe's really close by.
The driver is required to have a Balaclava when using their helmets; if you don’t have your own, they can be purchased for £3 and yours to keep at the end of your session. A driver who has their own helmet can use their own but please call to confirm it is suitable.
They sell equipment and tools in their shop such as balaclavas needed for racing.
Several of the restaurant and cafe's really close by have healthy options available.
The site is accessible but unfortunately they don't have any adapted carts so aren't fully wheelchair friendly.
