Roller City Rochdale is located at the Royale Centre in Rochadale, so skate on down! It's one of the largest rollerskating venues in the North West and is a fun activity to do with the family, and a chance to learn some new skills!

The large rink is suitable for over 100 people and there's a food and drink area and a spectator area if you don't fancy getting involved just yet. There are regular skate discos where you can skate to the latest tunes for a real fun atmosphere. 

If you've never skated before, then why not do some lessons? They have some regular lessons during the weekends and on most days in the school holidays. It's a great chance to learn a new skills or simply gain some confidence when skating. 

Each skating sessions consists of a 60 minute group learning experience with others of a similar skill level and they're suitable for both children and adults. You'll learn a variety of skills from beginner to a high grade performance standard. 

They do recommend you wear wrist guards to prevent any injury and they're available to be purchased in the centre of you can bring your own if you have them

Skating is a great activity for all ages and it can burn up to 500 calories in a hour as you whizz round the rink. Just be careful not to bump into anyone! 

There's a skate shop onsite which sells quad skates and inlines and accessories too, so if you don't have your own, make sure to check out the shop to purchase some one your own. 

Do you have a special birthday coming up? They hold skate parties too which are full of fun for all ages! There's lots of different packages to choose from and you'll get a food, drinks and some special party games thrown in too! It'll be a birthday to remember that's for sure!
