Finding the Grey Mares Tail Nature Reserve is easy. If you're coming from Dumfries, head south on the A701 until you reach the town of Moffat. From there, take the B7076 and follow the signs to the reserve. If you're coming from Glasgow, head south on the M74 and take the A701 towards Moffat. Then follow the same route as above.

There is no cafes on the route so bring your own picnic and snacks to eat throughout your visit!

There are no toilets near by so make sure you go before visiting!
