If you're coming from the north, take the A76 towards Dumfries, then turn right onto the A702 towards Thornhill. From here, follow the signs for Drumlanrig Castle, which will take you through some stunning countryside and past some truly beautiful sights.

Alternatively, if you're coming from the south, take the A75 towards Dumfries, then turn left onto the A76 towards Sanquhar. From here, follow the signs for Drumlanrig Castle, which will take you through some equally picturesque scenery and some charming towns and villages.
