About this activity

Glenarm Castle features one of Ireland’s oldest walled gardens and is filled with historical and exciting plants of all colours, throughout the seasons! There's plenty to see and do for all ages for a great day out.

The walled garden is situated on the grounds of Glenarm Castle and has exciting new features added every year! There are water features, fruit gardens and sculptures to admire on your way round.

There are also woodland walks too, where you'll be able to try and spot red squirrels, robins, rabbits and much more. You'll be able to get a bird-eye view over the walled garden and you may even see some cattle grazing too.

You can collect an activity book from the welcome centre to enhance your walk and is great for getting the kids involved!

They also have a mini land rover experience took. The kids will take control of the driving seat for an off road adventure which will provide endless fun and entertainment!

The castle is a private family home, however, there are guided tours on selected dates throughout the year.

You'll be able to explore the history as it comes to life by the family butler and house staff and see the drawing room, dining room and the striking hall.
