Thousand Islands Expeditions offer wildlife adventure boat trips around the lovely Ramsey Island, Skomer Island and Grassholm island in Wales. You'll see some of the most powerful currents in Britain, pass beneath tall cliffs and see lots of wildlife along the way.
Ramsey Island is home to the UK's largest Atlantic Grey Seal colonies and hundreds are born during August to October! You can also witness the Harbour Porpoise feed too at certain states of the tide. Keep your eyes peeled for some Common dolphins and Rissos dolphins and see over 37,000 pairs of breeding gannets at Grassholm. you may even see a whale too!
They run wildlife trips across St Brides Bay to watch puffins around Skomer Island and it's the perfect way to see all sorts of animals in their natural habitat and environment. In Spring there's thousands of nesting seabirds and you can watch falcons fly overhead too!
There are a number of different boat trips to choose from too. From evening cruises, to seabirds, solphins and more and a two hour Skomer puffin trip, whatever you want to do and time you have, there's a boat trip for everyone!
All of the boat trips leave from the RNLI Lifboat Station in St Justinians.
There's also lots of coastal path walks too, outdoor activities, wildlife boat trips and fishing so there's something to do for everyone if you really wanted to make a complete day out of it!
As you enter St. Davids on the A48 from any direction, come into the middle of St. Davids. The Cross Square is on a slight hill and Thousand Islands Expeditions booking office is on the lower end of the Cross Square on the corner of the road leading down to St. Davids Cathedral.

On the boat trips take a bottle of water and bring a picnic!
If you are landing on Ramsey Island it is advisable to bring warm, waterproof clothing. There is no cover once out on the island trail and the boat crossing can be wet. Sunscreen and a hat are also advisable in hot weather
Everything wildlife is available in our gift shop in the middle of St. Davids. Soft toys, stationery, books, identification charts, maps, binoculars, clothing and so much more.
