Droitwich Spa Lido is the UK's last remaining inland, open air saltwater swimming pool! It's complete with a 40 metre pool, wet play area, sun terrace and a cafe with some tasty refreshments that will complete your day out! 

Cold water swimming has some great benefits to your health! One is the the amazing benefits it has to your skin due to the saltwater as it's filled with magnesium, calcium and more which is all great. It also helps increase your stamina, increase tolerance to stress and will increase your cardiovascular fitness! 

In the Summer of 2007, the Lido was reopened with a brand new pool and the water still ebenfits from a natural brine feed and the original 1930s fascia remains! 

The water is heated to 23 degrees making it lovely and Mediterranean! The children's wet play area features water cannos and fountains that they'll love running in and out of! The lido itself is set in beautiful, green parkland so you can explore after your swim if you'd like. 

The pool is 40 metres in total and has been voted at thr 5th best lido in Britain and has held the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for three years running. 

Every season the valve to the bring feed is opened. The water level is then dropped to allow the bring to filter into the pool, and it's topped up throughout the season!
