The Severn Valley Railway has been creating memories for more than fifty years! Join them for a day out your won't forget and travel by vintage steam and disel hauled trains on one of the UK's leading heritage railways!

If you purchase the freedom of the line ticket, you can choose where you, gow long you stay and have lots of flexibility! They've got some suggested itineraries too if you need a little expert guidance on how to plan your day. Kiddmerminster station has a railway museum housed in an original warehouse nearby and you'll learn all about the history of railway in the area. Or stop off at Bewdley station as it has a heritage-covered wooden footbring see if you spot a small dogs head detailing on the outside walls too! Here you can head to the Bewdley Museum or visit a wide selection of shops. 

Arley station is very rural and has starred in many famous film and TV productions too! From the station you can visit the Arley Arboretum which is home to more than 300 species of trees too. Or why not head to Highley Station and take a trip SVR's visitor centre and watch the trains pass by! No matter where your journey leads you to, there's lots of fun and learning to do. 

 All year round they hold events too. There's the Spring Steam Gala at Kidderminster which is a festival of steam locomotives, special guests and lots of your favourite locomotives! Make sure to check out the website before you visit so you know what's happening when and where.
