The Transport Museum is located in north Worcestershire and holds a huge collections of buses, battery electric veichles and much more to explore. So if you do want to learn all about the history of transport, then the museum will be a must visit for you and the whole family.
The main Power Hall you'll discover how public transport helped people to get out and about and you'll also learn more about the operational and manufacturing sides of the industry. There's also lots of examples of bus company art and photos, so you can see how public transport has changed over the years
In hall 2, you'll see lots of Battery Electrics and buses. They have the largest collection of restored battery electric behicles in the world. Hall 3 is home to the running gleet and it's a space for the volunteers to restore and matain the collections.
There's also lots of family-friendly kids activities too! The Kids Kabin area has a ball pond, wooden railways, colouring, toys and more to occupy themselves with and it's the perfect chance for parents to put their feed up with a coffee! There is an outside picnic area with two little tikes activity gyms, but a milk float where the children can sit and play and use their creativity to decorate the sides with chalk paint!
You'll find that the museum has lots of interactive exhibits, including a bus cab with authentic sounds, steering wheel and lots of activity sheets to keep kids occupied! They also have some main event days which have lots of classic bus rides, visiting vehicles and models to appeal to all ages. They even have a ride on steam railway! Wythall is on the A435 Birmingham to Evesham road, near to the junction with the M42. If approaching via the M42, leave at junction 3 and head towards Birmingham as far as the large island at Becketts Farm. Turn left and the Museum is signposted from there and is situated close to Wythall's old Church. Parking is free.

The shop sells gifts and toys for the kids and an ever changing, massive selection of books, models, timetables and other goods, both new and second-hand.
The museum has excellent educational facilities for school visits and they can work with you to tailor your visit to your exact requirements.
Everything is on one level and hard-surfaced. All ramps are compliant.
