Bowland Wild Boar Park

Bowland Wild Boar Park is the heart of the Forest of Bowland. It's surrounded by woodlands, rivers and it's a great place to take in the local countryside and get involved with lots of family-friendly activities. 

They have a variety of animals at the park. From geese to hens, rabbits, ducks, pigs, sheep, llamas, boars, meerkats and donkeys, you'll find your favourite one here! You'll also get the chance to hand feed them as well, along with petting and chick holding! 

As well as the animals, there's lots of outdoor play too with slides, swings, zip wires and a new climbing wall! If the weather takes a turn, indoors there is a kinetic sand kitchen, balancing scales and a basketball hopper too!

The park also runs regular barrel, tractor and tank rides where you can explore the park!

Nearby there are lots of walks around the park for all abilites too, where you can take in the beauty of the area. There's lots of maps and details at the reception and they all vary as well, so make sure you pick one up!
