About Samlesbury Hall

Samlesbury Hall is a historic stately home with immaculate gardens and play areas in Lancashire. It's a great place for visitors of all ages and there's always something fun going on during the school holidays! 

Most of the school holidays has lots of special fun-filled days with the tour guide, who will leave the kids laughing their heads off! They also have a play trail which is nestled in the woods, alongside the new playground.

The playgrounf is nestled in the woods. You'll be able to climb through the windows of the mini Samlesbury Hall replica, climb rope bridges and head on board the ship! There's also a wooden trail complete with bridges, swings and obstacles along the way. The playground is free for all to use when the hall is open to the public. 

They offer free guided tours on Sundays which also give you an insight into the bloody history of the hall, both for children and adults! The guides are usually in costume and will talk to you all about the history of the hall. 

They offer lots of events all year round, from history talks to spooky tours to even a visit from Santa, make sure to check out the website and have a look at the events calendar to see what's happening.
