Stanley Park is Blackpool's most significant park and was opened in 1926! It has been voted the best park in the UK twice and is set in acres of breathtaking scenery and surroundings.
The park stretches 390 acres and has stunning architecture, recreation and horticulture. It has an iconic bandstand, boating lake, Italian gardens and more and it's a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of Blackpool seafront.
The park is open everyday and is split into four zones. There are the formal gardens, lake and woodland area and children's play areas and sports facilities, so there's plenty to do for the whole day here!
You'll see stunning planting displays, beautiful flowerbeds, fountains and lots of places to sit and relax. It's also England's finest examples of Art Deco design, with a cafe offering views across the park too. You can also hire out some pedal boats, have a game of pitch and putt, right on trains, trampolining, bowling and so much to delight all ages.
You'll find an interactive surfboard, climbing frames, slides, swings and play veichles, as well as plenty of bird watching hides to get closer to nature.
