The cloth shower curtain looked like it had not been washed or replaced ever, and was pink with mold along the bottom. We had requested a crib for our baby to be placed in the room and the crib mattress was outdated and heavily soiled/stained, and we weren't given a plastic cover or sheet for it. We had mentioned we would have 4 people in the room, but only 2 towels were in the bathroom which was inconvenient at an early hour when we discovered this. The noise level in the room we stayed in was a problem for sleeping. There is a train that runs...Read More

Just pulled in an hour go and the rooms are great for those who like country set ups. They did not have an ADA bedroom with 2 beds but they made do! I love it, so far, great service. My mother had trouble with her television and someone was in her room fixing what ever needed to be fixed immediately. Would definitely recommend to people if traveling through the area! Pets are welcome. Very clean and well taken care of.

The low price was definitely not worth staying here...

Think twice before making a reservation. We were very impressed by the website verbiage and positive testimonials. It never occurred to us that they probably would hide the negative reviews...and there should be a lot of them.!!!!!

First, even though the website boasts an update in the hotel, the only thing updated is some of the furniture and the tile in the bathrooms. There is still old torn up furniture and they are already neglecting the new tile, which appeared to have growth on the...Read More

We had mentioned we would have 4 people in the room, but only 2 towels were in the bathroom which was inconvenient at an early hour when we discovered this. The noise level in the room we stayed in was a problem for sleeping. There is a train that runs back behind the hotel and a semi-busy road that runs in front for the hotel - this is not the hotel owner's fault, but something worth mentioning.

The staff member who checked us in appeared to be intoxicated and very unprofessional in appearance and mannerisms. We really wanted to support the local economy instead of going to a large hotel. It is unfortunate that we encountered this type of carelessness, as I could see that it is a great hotel. With greater care for the individual requests of guests, CLEAN amenities in the bathroom, as well as more professional staff members, this hotel would have remained on our list as a place to stay when driving through, since we make the same trip at least once a year. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel based on our singular visit.

First, even though the website boasts an update in the hotel, the only thing updated is some of the furniture and the tile in the bathrooms. There is still old torn up furniture and they are already neglecting the new tile, which appeared to have growth on the grout.

Second, the carpet was nasty and stained.

Third, the tub which looked like it was from the original building era of the facility had a dirt ring all around the bottom of it.

Fourth, the customer service was not as the website boasts. To the contrary, both parties we dealt with acted like you were bothering them and didn't care to make sure everything was ok. They definitely did not care about the facility or the customer's satisfaction.

Finally, if that wasn't all bad enough, the website doesn't bother to tell you that the hotel sits between a main road and the railroad tracks, which are right behind the facility. We counted at least 10 noisy trains that came through at all times of the night.

***** P.S. Their so called breakfast was either 1 or 2 cold cereals, packet oatmeal, bananas or fresh cut fruit. With the way everything else looked around that place...I was unsure it was wise or safe to try the fruit.
