Come safari with us! You feed the animals on an exciting adventure at the largest totally free-roaming wildlife preserve of its kind in the country! The Global Wildlife Center in Folsom, Louisiana is home to over 4,000 exotic, endangered, and threatened animals from all over the world. Get eye to eye with giraffes, wiggle a camel's hump, or feel the wooly fur of bison as you learn through touch! It's Africa, in Louisiana. Whether you are 2 or 92, the whole family will love Global Wildlife Center.

A concession stand with hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, etc is open on Saturdays and Sundays only. Chips, snacks, and drinks available daily..
Any Top Tips?
Buy plenty of animal feed, a Family Bucket is a must. The more food, the more fun! Although the wagons are covered, if it rains, you will get wet! The gift shop has ponchos if you need them. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and an outdoor activity..

Global Wildlife has a wheelchair ramp that makes the safari wagons easily accessible..
There is a baby changing station in the restrooms..

We were in Baton Rouge, LA visiting family and decided to check out this attraction. It is a wonderful place to visit for al ages! Very inexpensive and comparable to zoo prices. Never have I before been able to touch a giraffe! What great memories!
