Jackson Zoo in Mississippi is a historic zoo that dates back to 1919, and has been giving families a great day out ever since! With over 300 of those amazing animals at the zoo, representing over 120 species from all over the world, there is so much for kids to learn and see!
You want to know all about the animals don't you? Let's tell you! Africa can visit you with mammals like the Springbok, Colobus Monkey, Chimp and Gazelle all calling Jackson Zoo home. The Panda, Tiger and Leopard are just some of the creatures to teach kids about the nature of Asia, and even Australia is be experienced with the Kookaburra and Tawny Frogmouth.
Kids can even learn about creatures from their very own backyard with those from North America - the Beaver, Otter, Wolf and Flamingo just some of the creatures that they can explore.
Jackson Zoo isn't just mammals though! Kids who love those scaly creatures can get up close with the Bearded Dragon, Boa Constrictor, Rattlesnake and even turtles.
