Kids, at Uptown Climbing you'll love that you can have permission to literally climb the walls! Are you ready to scale new heights?

Uptown Climbing is Louisiana's premiere climbing facility and is great for keen climbers of all ages, no matter what your experience level. Whether you have never even touched a climbing wall before, or you've been bouldering like a pro for years, Uptown Climbing will have something for you!

In fact, Uptown Climbing are Baton Rouge's first climbing gym AND Louisiana's largest!

Here, you'll find a truly impressive 90 foot long bouldering wall, as well as over 60 rope stations up to 35' tall, AND a speed wall! If that wasn't enough, you can also enjoy crack climb, 6 auto-belay stations, and a dedicated sport lead climbing wall.  Phew!

They are actually also much more than just a climbing gym. They also house a members-only fitness room, as well as offer yoga, and plenty of instruction to make you the best climber you can be.

Celebrating a birthday? Great! They also have two rooms for birthdays & groups, and their mezzanine is great for spectating if you just want to others achieve new heights!

With kids camps, clubs and classes for kids, there is no excuse not to give indoor climbing a try. Not only is it super fun, but it's great for kids to keep active and they can enjoy a real sense of achievement when they finally reach the top on a course that they been struggling with!

The courses are all color coded by difficulty, so you know you can always attempt levels that are matched to your ability, and also allow you to monitor your progress!
