About this activity

We all know that baseball is SO much more than just a game, so why not celebrate the sport, heroes and legacy at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum? In this New York City attraction, families can experience something that connects generations - this American tradition that holds a special place in all our hearts (Those two words of "Play Ball" muster so many feelings!)

The National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum celebrates the memories created, the records broken, and the stories told as they take you back through the greatest moments in baseball history.

There are plenty of things to see in the museum for the hardcore fans, from plaques, to stats, important figures and equipment donned by the greatest players.

You can see uniforms worn out on the fields, and pieces of ballpark that are all part of history.

Of course, you don't need to be a die hard fan to appreciate and discover the cultural impact of the sport.  The "Taking the Field" exhibit transports visitors back in time to explain how the love of baseball came about, and "Whole New Ballgame" showcasing artifacts from over the decades, complete with pop culture staples.

You can learn all about the life and legacy of Babe Ruth, and be inspired by the many women and African Americans who left their mark on the game.

So batter up kids, it's your time to be inspired at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, and you never know - one day YOUR photo might be on the walls!
