What is there to do?

We just love zoos at Family Days Out, spending the day with cute animals from all over the world - it's so much fun!

But Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo know what kids love, and it's enjoying a day so much more than just your average observational zoo experience, which is why their focus is giving engaging, hands-on fun!

They also LOVE to teach kids about wildlife and conservation, and believe that the best way for kids to grow up caring about wildlife, is to have those personal interactions as children - so what are you waiting for? Are you excited to go exploring Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo?

Let's start with the animals! Kids can see the weird and wonderful from all across the globe, from the cute African Pygmy Goats, to mysterious Gray Wolves, cute Llamas, and even those cheeky Lemurs!

Kids can watch and learn all about animals from the great plains of Africa, including the Ball Python and the African Spur Thigh Tortoise - who can grow as much as 150lbs!

European animals such as the fallow deer and adorable hedgehog are all waiting to make new friends, and kids can discover Asia through the Japanese Sika Deer and Peafowl - just to name a few!

There are even creatures from North and South America at the zoo which they might recognize, as well as those domestic cuties such as the ferrets, sheep, ducks and those smiling Nubian goats!

Don't miss a chance to let your wild side out at the new Wild Creatures Playland, with a fun jumbo jumper pillow bounce, as well as a water balloon battle station!

Make sure you check out the animal presentations too - another great way for kids to learn! So c'mon kids, let's get WILD!
