Museums in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania - the birthplace of the USA! With so much history to a book (oh wait, it has!), it's a great place for kids to have a great time with the family AND learn! There are cultural attractions, as well as museums and fun activities like train rides and adventure sports, Pennsylvania is a place where there is certainly something for the whole family!

Hands up who LOVES to learn? Great thing for you then that Pennsylvania has a host of great museums for kids where they can play, learn, get creative and experience new and wonderful things!

Kids can learn all about the Earth and natural history at museums such as the Everhart Museum. There are museums that cover really bespoke subjects, such as the National Watch and Clock Museum, as well as Toonseum, filled with colorful and fascinating cartoon characters!

Thousands of artifacts tell the story of the Civil War at the National Civil War Museum, and the American Civil War Wax Museum, or you can explore the very hands-on and playful children's museums across the state, such as the one in Lewisburg!

Did we mention you can learn about 250 years of Pittsburgh history at the LARGEST history museum in the state, the Heinz History Museum?  Kids can even visit the weird and wonderful, such as the Castle Halloween Museum where it's Halloween every day of the year!

Amazing museum fun in Pennsylvania for the curious kids who LOVE to learn!
