Lassen Volcanic Park is home to meadows, lakes and lots of volcanoes! The volcanoes tells the story of the eruptive pasts whilst hot water continues to shape the land. There's lots to do for the whole family!

The park offers a wealth of activities throughout the seasons, so there's always something new happening! In Twinter there's lots to do for snow recreation, from sledding and snowplay, exploring on cross-country skis, and even snow camping too!

Summer is the most popular season in the park, where all park areas and trails are accessible. There's lots of trails too for you to explore, suitable for all abilities and ages. You can join in on a summer-led ranger program, backpacking and even some special events too, so make sure to check out the website before you visit so you know what's happening.

The Kohm Yah-mah-nee visitor center is located one mile from the Southwest Entrance. The visitor center offers an information desk, exhibit hall, auditorium, amphitheater, park store, dining area with fireplace, patio, and a gift shop and cafe.

The historic museum, Loomis, is located one mile from the northwest entrance of the park near Manzanita Lake. The museum is only open during the summer months. Visit for information, to view exhibits and the park film, shop at the park store, or participate in a ranger-led program
