Los Angeles....from the impressive hills on one side to the pristine beaches on the other, the great outdoors in this great city is certainly worth taking the time to explore on your next family day out. The city is surprisingly green, with pockets of nature lovers dreams waiting for you to enjoy them.
You can't explore Los Angeles without exploring what the locals love about it. Take Griffith Park, where families, pets, joggers and kids can enjoy the many trails in sight of that famous Hollywood sign. Everybody has a dream!
Did you know that in Pasadena there are 184 acres of natural park at the base of Mt. Wilson? That would be Eaton Canyon, which even features equestrian trails!
The Arboretum features 127 unique acres of garden on a historical site, and Zamora Park is always popular with the kids wit it's adventure playground.
Let's not miss the 3.5 miles of sandy coastline at Santa Monica State Beach, with more than 340 days of sunshine a year!
