About this activity

The Geneva Public Library offers many programs and activities for children.

Messy Story Hour is on Mondays at 10am. This program includes stories, songs, and fingerplays followed by a sensory based activity. It is geared toward toddlers and preschoolers.

Open Play is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-2:30pm. We open up our story room and get out extra toys to provide your high energy one a safe place to play and use up some energy.

Baby Lapsit is on Wednesdays at 10am. Bring your bouncing baby to a fun, interactive program that includes singing, fingerplays, music, and a story.

STEAM which stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math is our focus on Thursdays. On alternating Thursdays we have Discovery STEAM from 5:30-6:30pm which allows K-5 to explore STEAM wiht experiments, art, building, and more or Girls Who Code from 5:30-6:30pm which teaches basic coding skills to girls in grades 3-5.

There will be more programs in the coming months. We always have toys, coloring sheets, and of course, books available for young people to explore.

The library is a great place to bring your children. It is free to obtain a library card and that card can be used to check out books, videos, and more.
