If you want water fun, what better way to enjoy it than how nature intended! Cascade Lake is a pristine 6 acre lake, nestled within 70 acres of wooded areas and rolling hills. The perfect place for a water park!
The lake is spring fed, with a soft, sandy bottom so it's fun and safe for the whole family. The swimming area has been roped off, so you know that you're in the best spot to enjoy that splash about in the Maryland summer!
Within this area, there are fun waterslides to enjoy, and platforms to jump off. The area is also guarded by certified lifeguards, so you know you are in great hands!
If you don't fancy the lake, or don't like to swim, that doesn't mean you can't have fun! Cascade Lake have set up a Spray N Play, which doesn't have any standing water, so you can have all the fun of summer without having to get into the actual lake.
There are geysers, bubblers, and lots of water tunnels to entertain everyone - including those little water babies!
Love to fish? Of course you do! Cascade Lake also is stocked, so it's a great place to fish. There is also a trail around the lake, which is perfect to find a quiet spot just for you.
If that wasn't enough fun, the paddleboats are always popular with families - and it's a great way to get out there and keep fit too!

They love keeping everyone safe, so make sure you swim only in the roped area. This is the safe part to swim, guarded by a lifeguard.
The Cascade Cafe has a range of tasty snacks and drinks, from fries, burgers, funnel cakes, nachos to pretzels! Those tummies won't be rumbling for long!
To be in the deep water, kids have to be at least 8 years old, and pass the Cascade Lake swim test
There is a gift shop to pick up anything you may have forgotten, and some extras to take home too!
They have pavilions that you can hire for groups, which is a great place to enjoy the lake with students. There are picnic tables, grills. Just call ahead about how many people and book!
They sell water at the cafe. You can always bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy too.
