About this activity

Who is excited to explore and relive the origins of the nation's oldest sport - and no, we're not talking about basketball, or tennis, or baseball, or football - we are talking about lacrosse!

The Lacrosse Museum and National Hall of Fame celebrate this historic and iconic sport, and YOU can immerse yourselves in its rich history!

You can view the all-time greats of lacrosse in the beautiful Hall of Fame Gallery, study their outstanding accomplishments through state-of-the-art computer interactives, and kids might even be inspired to not only play the sport, but one day see their faces on the walls of the Hall of Fame too!

The exhibits feature a host of artifacts and memorabilia, from vintage equipment, to uniforms, trophies, and even rare photography and art.

You can also see items that once belonged to some of the greatest names in the sport, and relive their legacy and record-breaking achievements!

Don't miss a chance to capture the thrill of playing lacrosse during the multimedia show "Lacrosse: The Spirit Lives" and their historical documentary "More than a Game: A History of Lacrosse" - great additions to your already insightful and educational day out!

Are you ready to be inspired by this sporty Maryland museum, and learn all about some of the greatest sports men and women in the nation?
