Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre

Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre is located near Rockcorry and is only two hours from Dublin and Belfast! It lies on gentle rolling hills, lakes and rivers and forests and provides a range of water-based and land-based activities for all abilities. 

There are a whole range of water based activities. There are open canoeing, sit on top kayak and enclosed kayaking. The activities take plan on the Dromore river and you'll be supervised by the qualified instructors. They provide all the equipment you need and it's a great oopportunity to learn something new! 

They also offer Banana Boating which creates lots of laughs and is a great activity for the thrill seekers! You'll sit on an infltable tube that carries you through the water and you need to try and not fall off into the water! 

Other activities include raft building and mud sliding which is the perfect end to your day! It's a 40 meter slippery slope and you'll slide all the way down into the mud. 

If you don't fancy getting, wet, there's lots of on land activities too. 

There is archery, mountain biking and low ropes course. The course contains lots of obstacles to challenge you. You'll use the cables, ropes and wooden beans that are designed to challenge you and it's a great activity for meeting new people too!
