Spend the day surrounded by some of the most beautiful wildlife with the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary - a family-friendly Byron Bay destination with something for everyone!
The Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is home to over 100 beautiful Australian wildlife animals, including the iconic kangaroo, plus a fabulous array of birds and reptiles and yes, this includes snakes and crocodiles!
Don't miss saying hello to their resident personalities Manda the wombat as well as Arnie the koala. They are super cute! The sanctuary also have bunnies and guinea pigs as well as a Chick House with a host of adorable baby chicks (and yes, you can hold them!)
Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary also offer a range of wildlife encounters where you can experience these incredible animals up close.
The sanctuary isn't just wildlife those! Why not take a break and take on the 18 hole golf course, or make a splash in the waterpark. They even have a really fun tree house playground!
With comprehensive daily programs of Keeper talks and interactive activities, plus Free Flight Birds every day at 12:15pm, you certainly won't be short of things to do at the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary!

They offer electric car charging stations, and they also have a 180 panel 45KW solar system.
Stay for a meal and enjoy snacks or lunch from the Sanctuary café, offering delicious selection of fresh food made from locally produced goodness.
At the start of your day, check out their daily schedule so you don't miss out on any talks, feedings, shows or petting opportunities!
They do have a shop with a great range of merchandise!
For a self-guided visit to the Sanctuary, larger groups can book and take advantage of their group discounts! They can also come to you!
They cafe caters for all dietary requirements. You can always bring your own picnic and make use of their free gas barbecue facilities.
