Where are we going today?

Shady Acres RV Park & Campground is a beautiful, wildlife-filled 16 acres RV Park in the perfect location to base your family in while you explore the natural wonders of Southeastern Utah.

Like the sound of relaxing under the beautiful cottonwood trees and watching the mountain views from your campsite?  If you fancy a stroll you can enjoy their many acres and try and spot all their wildlife!  Maybe you will see some deer grazing out in the summer evenings.

For those RV users, they have 97 paved sites, with many 100+ft pull thru sites for those Big Rig drivers.  All of their RV spaces are pull thrus with full hook ups.

If you don't have an RV there are cabins you can check into and enjoy instead!

Enjoy a lovely family lunch or dinner on their picnic tables, and even cook up a storm on their cooking grills!

There is free wifi, drinking water, lots of grassy and shady areas to keep out of the sun, free Cable TV and what they claim to be "cleanest restrooms in Utah" - pretty impressive!

Kids can get out and stretch their legs after a long drive on one of their three playgrounds (yes, three!) where they can climb, jump and play until their heart's content.  Perhaps they want to give parents a rest and go and choose something for dinner at their full-line grocery store! What's that, you want to go back on the playground?

If you like adventure there are also golf courses at the State Park adjacent to the campground, and nearby white water rafting trips on the Green River - either a leisurely tour on calm water or take on those white-water thrills!

Enjoy Southeastern Utah!

Let me begin by saying that we made reservations in this park last April, 2013. They said that they couldn`t give us a site number until we got here. So we thought that will be okay. This is our first time to stay in Florida and I had such high hopes of spending a month here and totally enjoying staying here in Florida.

Older, well maintained campground with fairly tight full hook-up sites containing a very nice concrete pad & picnic table. Campground offers on site restaurant, pool, shuffle board, horse shoes and many planned activities. Bath house was very clean and updated. There are many full-time and seasonal residents who have created a family community feeling. We enjoyed our week long stay and would return again. Nothing fancy, just comfortable!

Let me begin by saying that we made reservations in this park last April, 2013. They said that they couldn`t give us a site number until we got here. So we thought that will be okay. This is our first time to stay in Florida and I had such high hopes of spending a month here and totally enjoying staying here in Florida.
Well, we arrived today excited to see the nice spot where we would be staying. That is when we were in for ONE BIG SHOCK. The site was filthy. There are ant mounds all around. It looks as though the site hadn`t been used for at least a year, and it is the WORST SITE in the whole campground. No kidding. It is the WORST site. We walked through the campground and everyone else has nice sites. We asked if we could move to another site, but, oh no, there weren`t any more sites available. After we were probably ahead of the other reservations, I feel as though we weren`t treated unfairly and we paid just as much as anyone else. They also have a limited internet use and I do all of my work online with the 4 shops that I own. This to me was the worst experience in my travels yet. We stayed in Myrtle Beach SC for the last 6 years during the winter and decided to come to this campground in Florida and this was our welcome to Florida. We have to make this stay as bearable as possible, but, we will never stay here again.
