Beautiful castle and island, in restoration process for top floors. Great views and easy access. $11 per person. Amazing, highly recommended.

Very impressive. Good insight into how the 1% lived back at the turn of the 20th century.

My son, grandkids, and I spent the day at Boldt Castle and had a wonderful time. The inside and furnishings of the Castle were beautiful and even had an unfinished basement with pool that the kids had fun exploring. The grounds around the Castle were so beautiful too - we walked and walked trying to view everything and still had more to see. I suppose that means we'll just have to come back!

This place is cool on many different levels and can appeal to many different perspectives. For the kids its a Castle and what kids are not fascinated with that. If you are a lover of history and like to read about how things came about they have some great literature for you to read while you are walking around and discovering everything about it. It was a beautiful day with beautiful views. Lots of picnic tables if you want to bring a picnic lunch. The most outstanding part of this was that its all handicap accessible. It was a beautiful day with beautiful views. Lots of picnic tables if you want to bring a picnic lunch. The most outstanding part of this was that its all handicap accessible. My 84 year old grandmother was taken up in a golf cart to which there is a elevator that will bring you to each floor of the Castle. When finished they radioed to the folks with the golf cart and they were back within 2 minutes to get her to bring her back to boat. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even knowledgeable of the Castle. I highly recommend if you are out in Alexandria Bay.
