SAIL Adirondacks is a "all hands on deck" crewed sailing charter with bases at Bridgeview Harbour Marina, Port Henry on Lake Champlain and at Old Dock Road State access site on Upper Saranac Lake near Lake Placid.
Our passengers assist with all aspects of the sailing cruise while learning about sailing, local history, and an insiders guide to other great activities in the area. Charters are by advance registration only and include sight seeing charters, learn to sail experiences, and sunset cruises.
At Port Henry we sail near the historic Crown Point Bridge and past colonial era forts. This charter provides fantastic views of the Vermont Green Mountains and and the majestic Adirondack Mountains of NY.
Upper Saranac Lake offeres close up views of the Adirondack high peaks, woderful adirondack architecture and great camp viewing as well as the best fall foliage viewing in the region. All of our charters offer the opportunity to participate in the activities that make sailing a rewarding experience, from pulling the anchor to raising the sails to tacking on a lively beam reach, you and your family can take turns sailing the boat while the licensed and experienced crew ensure that everythig runs safely and smothly.

SAIL Adirondacks provides bottled water, ice and light snacks. guests are encouraged to bring and cold food dishes, sandwiches, wraps etc. and beverages to enjoy during the cruise.
Bring what you need to be comfortable. Both of our boats have a large dry cabin where you can stow clothing and food. Bring extra layers for when it's chilly and sun screen for when skies are clear.
SAIL Adirondacks offers a limited number of shirts and hats for purchase to remember your sailing adventure.

Our crew works hard to provide accessibility. Our Port Henry base allows for step-on and step-off dock-side access. Our Upper Saranac Lake boat is on a mooring and requires a dinghy ride and a 2 foot step up and down to embark and disembark from the sailboat.
