Where are we going today?

Heading out to the beach for your family day out is one thing, but heading to the sand dunes to participate in some pretty amazing tours of the sand dunes is another!

Art's Dune Tours let kids experience dunes which stretch as far as they can see, with wispy beach grass and amazing greens of the pine trees dotted underneath the very blue sky - it's an amazing place!

In the car, the family will travel through the very majestic sand dunes, and your guide will offer you a fascinating narration as you go, pointing out the famous "dune shacks" where famous writers and artists were inspired to create!

There are some historic sites too, like the remains of the Peaked Hill Life Saving Stations, where kids can hear all about how brave the literal "life savers" were to help those part of the doomed shipwrecks! They are amazing tours for the family.

You can even take a tour of the beautiful peaked hill bars historic district sand dunes which can be found on the Provincetown Cap Cod National Seashore.

All of the tours at Art's Dune Tours start at 10am, and end with a spectacular sunset tour at about 5:30pm. Just check out which tour you want to take! The Land N Lake Excursion is about 3.5 hours long, or you can try the one hour historic tour. Lighthouse Tours, Sunset Tours...even dinner included if you like! There are a range to choose from, so you can really pick the one that suits your family.

We loved everything about our tour. On board were 2 sixty-somethings, a 95 year old, and 2 twenty-somethings. We were all thrilled and had a wonderful sunset tour with our guide George. From the moment we stood outside the tour office, people were looking after my mom, bringing her a chair, etc. George let her know when every bump was coming up on the sand...all gentle! This is an amazing place and belongs to us all as Americans...go!! On the beach, dozens of seals popped up their heads. The sunset was spectacular and ever-changing. Art's...Read More

The tour and tour guide were fantastic.

The service from the owner Rob Costa was ridiculous. I paid for 4 dune tour tickets online via Paypal last year, through the Dune Tour website. We took the tour no problem.

One month later I received an invoice from Rob Costa saying that I hadn't paid because the Paypal payment didn't go through. I immediately confirmed with Paypal that the payment did go through. I emailed Rob Costa stating this information, and suggest he take it up with Paypal. Four days later I received another invoice from...Read More

Art's has a history of its own to go along with the history of the Cape Cod National seashore....family run, easy-going, wonderfully kind and interesting!

I then sent him, via email, the details of my Paypal receipt showing that the payment did go through. This time I also said I would be contacting the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection, since he was unwilling to verify the payment with Paypal, and he was continuously harassing me.

The invoicing stopped after that, but I never received any apology. That poor, poor service.
