Their whole ethos is to care for animals that aren't able to be released back into the wild, and your visit can help them with that journey! Animal Ark is also committed to using environmentally friendly energy policies wherever possible. The majority of Animal Ark’s energy needs are met by using passive solar panels and wind generation. Water recycling policies are also in place.
What activities can families enjoy during their visit to Animal Ark?
Families can explore the sanctuary's trails, participate in educational programs, and enjoy picnic areas while observing diverse wildlife in naturalistic enclosures.

Strollers are permitted, but the small-wheeled umbrella style strollers do not roll well on their trail.

No restaurant available but they do sell sodas and water! You can also take a picnic and enjoy lunch at their large picnic and playground area.
When is the best time to visit Animal Ark to see active animals?
Visiting early when they open at 10:00am, when it’s cool, will increase your chances to see their nocturnal predators active before they start their daily naps!

They have a great Gift Shop with a variety of items including items hand crafted in Kenya. Jewelry, t-shirts, stuffed animals, animal print purses and much more!
