Where are we going today?

Honeybee Centre is a working honeybee farm and tourist attraction. We are also the new home to the Bees & Bugs lab, an interactive live bug & bee exhibit. See live bees & bugs, watch a demonstration on the weekend, or shop and sample a dozen varieties of delicious honey!

Honeybee Centre has an amazing variety of other bee themed gifts and health products. From candles to soap, pollen to propolis, you can find gifts, natural remedies, and sweet treats for everyone. Locally made specialties like chocolate covered honey truffles, hand made beeswax candles, beeswax lip balms and beeswax & honey soaps are just a few of the great products we've got in store.

If it's health products you're looking for, we've got pollen for seasonal allergies, propolis for your immune system, or royal jelly for your whole body function. Come in and ask any staff member to find something that's right for you.

Full disclosure: I used to work here, but I wouldn't be submitting this review if I didn't really believe in Honeybee Centre's charm. It's still my go-to for last-minute gifts; honeysticks or the nuts in honey are always a bit hit. The staff is super passionate and knowledgable about bees and anything else that comes from the hive, and are always happy to answer any questions or talk with you endlessly about the newest honey varietals (from fireweed to buckwheat to orange blossom) available for sampling. The Honeybee Centre is in my old neighbourhood and I always love going to the Honeybee Festival each summer. The staff is very friendly, especially when you become a regular customer! I love the flavoured honeysticks as a sweet treat, and also their huge variety of flavoured honey. They even have creamed honey which can be difficult to find at the regular grocery stores :).
