Mount Seymour is just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver and is very family-friendly! The resort offers four terrain parks that are catered for all different abilities and has over 30 park features in total! Head to the mountain for a day of adventure with the whole family.
The terrain parks are lit for night riding too and has features from thirtytwo, dragon, wired, salmon arms and intuition. Whether it's your first time on the snow or wish to take your skills to the next level, there's lot of different lesson types. From multi-day camps, to group and private lessons and ever freestyle lessons. Skiing and snowboarding lessons and open routes are available, with lessons beginning at age 3 and all levels of ability catered for with route options split 40% green runs, 40% blue and the rest into double black. There is also a beginner friendly terrain park for developing skills, tricks and confidence.
Experience the mountain on foot and enjoy scenic lakes, forests and trails with an experience guide on their popular snowshoe tours. Head to the Snow Tube Park for fun and laughter and enjoy the thrill of sliding down the tube. There's also tobogganing where families can play in the snow, you can purchase a sliding mat from them too, bring your own.
There's lots of dining options on site too, aswell as rental gear and shops to stock up on any essentials you may need.
All vehicles accessing Mt Seymour between Oct 1 - Mar 31 must be equipped with winter tires in good condition, showing either the peaked mountain/snowflake symbol or M+S. The road to Mt Seymour is a mountain highway plowed and sanded during winter. Be aware that weather and road surface conditions change quickly.
