About this activity

If you love animals, then why not visit a place that is FILLED with super sweet animals on your next family day out! Maplewood Farm is only 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver, and is a unique and enjoyable experience for kids of all ages where they can play on 5 acres of farm land, and that includes those fun animals they can interact with too!

Maplewood Farm started as a thriving dairy farm, and then expanded with it's collection of over 200 domestic and farm animals and birds, which is great news for families who want to go and visit!

You can experience the farm through self-guided tours, and they offer a comprehensive booklet all about farming and the animals, so kids can learn all about farm life as they make their way around. They can learn all about breeding, feeding, the rearing of young animals, and the daily caring of the animals too!

If that wasn't all, Maplewood Farm also has a kid's pedal tractor to rent out, and kids can enjoy those interactive animal encounters including feeding the ducks, feeding the chickens, and even taking a pony ride!

Did you know Maplewood Farm also has running of the goats too? Sounds super fun!

From horses, goats, pigs, sheep, birds, cows and rabbits, Maplewood Farm is a fun, relaxing and animal-tastic family day out in North Vancouver where the kids can have a great time, AND make new friends!
