Where are we going today?

Discovery Bendigo offers over 100 exhibits designed to tease the mind and teach through play, with themes including physics, the elements, perception and more.

A smaller more whimsical version is available for under 8s, plus over 5s can try ther vertical drop slide, it's included in your admission and you drop at between 30 and 40 mph.

Other features include the planetarium at which there are regular shows held.

    Just in case you think that your inner child does not need stimulating(and I mean more than just doing the vertical slide twice in a row!) this is the MUST SEE venue when in town. Just across the road from the Bendigo Railway Station. This has a bit of everything: I definitely like the 'vortex' simulator(think "disaster movies"). Also enthralled with the 'echo tunnel'. Lots of displays(hands-on fortunately!) demonstrating those essential principles of science that we mortals take for granted every day. I recommend this for ages: 3 to 90 years...Read More
