The countdown is still on! Yesterday we brought you the first 10 in our “50 States Of Summer”, and now get ready for part two!

Let’s get ready to travel this amazing country and see the whole RANGE of family friendly activities that you can enjoy - no excuses this summer Shall we continue? Yes? We thought you would want to! 11. Swim with dolphins! If you have the chance…why not! Places like Dolphin Quest in Hawaii lets you swim, touch and even kiss these amazing creatures! What a cool summer story to tell friends!

12. Visit a Real-Life Working Ranch!

That’s right kids! You can saddle up and visit real working ranches like Granite Creek Guest Ranch in Idaho, where you can stay in log cabins, enjoy nightly campfires and saddle your own horse before herding cattle!

13. Try Photography!

The great thing about photography is it allows you to be creative! Grab the camera, and head to a place like Kickapoo State Park in Illinois where it’s teeming with wildlife, giving you plenty of opportunities to practice getting that perfect shot!

14. Experience Another Culture

The USA is very multicultural, so why not spend the day exploring one of the many cultures that make the country great! Amish Acres in Indiana gives you 80 acres of history and culture to explore and learn about, and you can feel what it would have been like to live 125 years ago too!

15. Visit a Film Location!

There are SO many films shot in the USA, that why not spend the day visiting one of your favorites! A popular site is the Field of Dreams Movie Site in Iowa….you can even play a game of baseball there too! Pretty cool!

16. Splash in a Water Park!

Of course it’s summer, so why wouldn’t you! There are SO many water parks across the country, and each one has something different. Places likes Kansas’s Rock River Rapids give you slides, lap pools, and water attractions for those little ones. Splash away!

17. Enjoy a Bike Ride!

If you don’t have your own bike, not to worry! Just find a place like Wheel Fun Rentals in Kentucky that offer you two, three or four wheel bikes! Then, you can enjoy traffic free biking in their 100 acres of Waterfront Park! Amazing!

18. Explore a Swamp!

Yep, we’re not kidding! There are parts of the south that have some amazing habitats, and with companies like Cajun Critters Swamp Tours in Louisiana, you can journey through the backwaters…where pirates once roamed! Keep an eye out for those crocs!

19. Go Whale Watching!

That’s right - you don’t have to be very far away to see these amazing creatures! Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company in Maine is just one place where you can get out and see these impressive mammals in their natural habitats.

20. Experience a Speed Boat!

Encounter amazing wildlife and the thrill of the wind in your hair as you take to the waters…pretty fast! The Sea Rocket in Maryland let’s you cruise the coastline and maybe encounter playful dolphins! So there you have it! Part 2 of our “50 States Of Summer”! Are you even more excited for summer now?
