The Texas Zoo offers a host of amazing animal experiences and encounters for the family, so why not take a walk on the wild side and come exploring with us!
This popular family zoo features introduces kids to animals from Texas, as well as the rest of the world. You can meet them face to face as they walk round naturalistic habitats with good viewing opportunities built in. A great learning experience for the kids!
That learning can continue through the various events that the Texas Zoo holds throughout the days, and the year.
Kids can wrap their arms around sheep, or give potbellied pigs a belly rub at the Petting Zoo. Along with their favorite barnyard creatures, kids can meet emus, and white-tailed does as they learn why it's so important to care for our animals!
A new introduction to the Texas Zoo are the Family Field Trips! Just bring that sense of adventure as you travel with the staff through the various ecosystems across the grand state of Texas, and even the world! Every experience is unique too!

Want to bring your group to The Texas Zoo? They have a variety of onsite educational programs to fit your groups needs. Each program is designed to meet the Texas education standards and included encounters with some of their amazing animal ambassadors.
There is a Gift Shop available at the zoo so save those pennies and pick up some fun merchandise to take home!
Give them a call to discuss the accessibility of the zoo, they will be happy to help! Service animals, however, are welcome.
