About Lake Corpus Christi State Park

It's sunny outside, it's lovely and warm...what are you still doing inside!? Lake Corpus Christi State Park is just waiting for active kids and their families to come and enjoy it!

Let's see...what do you fancy doing today? Bring some tasty treats and enjoy a yummy picnic with the family? Maybe you want to bring your boat and get out onto the water and spend some time boating on the lake? (Yep - motors are allowed!) Maybe you want to stay out on that water and try water skiing, or relax for a few hours and enjoy some fishing (try and catch some dinner!)

There is a beach for swimming (but it's unsupervised, so just keep an eye on the kids), lie on the sand and try and spot all the bird species in the area, or even grab those shoes and get out there and get hiking on the many trails!

The are of Lake Corpus Christi State Park is a mixture of bushland, and occasionally marsh land and open waters. It's a fascinating mix for those studying ecology. The park is one of the few remaining stands of brushland in the entire area, so it's definitely a very special place! (That's what the wide variety of animals int he area think too)

Try and spot the thrashers, the doves, the catfish, and even the white-tailed deer. Who will spot the most animals!

This 356 acres park has been a favorite of families since 1934, and there's a reason they keep going back!

So grab those hats, and shoes, and cameras, and enjoy your family day out in Lake Corpus Christi State Park!
