The Zoo is located in Hermann Park, near the Texas Medical Center and the Museum District. Main Entrance is at 6200 Hermann Park Drive.

The zoo has many environmental process's in play to ensure that they are doping their bit to help conserve the planets resources and actively involved in many aspects of conservation.
There are plenty of dining options available at the zoo. Twiga Café, Cypress Circle Café and even dining at food trucks
Please allow plenty of time for parking and arrival. The Zoo opens at 9 a.m., and you are welcome to visit the Zoo before and after your Animal Encounter. Guests who arrive 5 minutes or more late will not be permitted to join the experience.
