Please allow plenty of time for parking and arrival. The Zoo opens at 9 a.m., and you are welcome to visit the Zoo before and after your Animal Encounter. Guests who arrive 5 minutes or more late will not be permitted to join the experience. Select areas of the Zoo are equipped with Wi-Fi.
There are plenty of dining options available at the zoo. Twiga Café, Cypress Circle Café and even dining at food trucks
Healthy Eating Most menus contain healthy eating options so you can be sure you have the option tom eat well.
The Zoo is located in Hermann Park, near the Texas Medical Center and the Museum District. Main Entrance is at 6200 Hermann Park Drive.
