What is there to do?

Kids, are you ready to get out into nature and enjoy some of the best, most popular great outdoors near Atlanta? Get those walking shoes on - it's time to head to Elwyn John Wildlife Sanctuary!

Located near that Georgia capital, the Elwyn John Wildlife Sanctuary is 1.7 miles of lightly trafficked loop trail which is perfect for the whole family to enjoy on your next family day out. It's known as a hidden gem, and when you visit you will be able to see why!

The trail is filled with beautiful features including a waterfall, and it's perfect for all skill levels, so no matter how old you are, or whether you're a stroller, walker or runner, you will love it!

The Elwyn John Wildlife Sanctuary trail is primarily used for hikers, bikers, walkers and even those who love to just stop and enjoy the wildlife. Kids, what do you think you might be able to spot? The trail is popular with birders so make sure you look up too!

The main look circles the preserve itself, and the path is wide and easy. If you want to take it all in there is even a viewing and sitting platform where you can overlook the creek and waterfall. Great fun for dogs too in the family! After all, the family day out shouldn't mean just the two legged members!

We hope you have those walking shoes on kids, because it's time to escape the city and head into what Mother Nature has created!
