About this activity

Staunton Country Park is a historic estate with acres of parkland and family activities. With plenty of trails, follies, play areas and wildlife to spot, the park provides endless fun for the whole family.

There's lots to keep the little ones entertained! Head out on one of the marked trails and see what follies you can find! See if you can spot the Green and Green Goddess hiding in the park. There's also an outdoor play area for the kids too, with a look out spot to see the beautiful landscape.

In the coach house there is an interpretation area. Explore the interactive games, puzzle stations and more that tell the timeline and history of the country park.

There are easy access and medium walking trails around the park. The tree trail allows you to discover the trees and plants that were collected by Sir George Staunton throughout his life, and each season brings new experiences and sights and sounds. There's also labels too which provide details about the trees too.

As well there are family-friendly cycling routes which start at the main entrace to the park if you wanted to explore on bike.

Take a walk through the storey gardens for a moment of relaxation with a range of plants and produce which are also available to purchase every Friday!

They also have a range of workshops and seasonal events too! So make sure to check out the website before you visit so you know what's happening when and where.
