St Andrews Aquarium is the ideal family attraction where you can immerse yourself under the sea! There are hundreds of different species of animals from meerkats, frogs, sharks and crocodiles! There's lots to explore and plenty of engaging activities for the whole family to get involved in.
There are over 120 species of animals for you to meet, from fishy to fluffy and poisonous! There are Humboldt Penguins which are medium sized and they also will love you to feed them!
You'll also see the feisty marmosets and the enclosure has been created to educate visitors about the effct deforestation has on the planet.
Meet the seals and make sure to check out the daily seal feeding and talks and you'll learn about their unique personalities too. They also have some of the world's biggest spiders and even Scorpions!
There are colourful frogs which tend to be a little shy, and dawrf corcodiles too where you'll see them chilling under the heat of the lights.
As well, there are of course the fish! From piranhas, to lionfish, sharks and rays, take a read of the information near their enclosure and learn all about them.

St Andrews Aquarium is right next to the beach at the heart of St Andrews, just 60 minutes from Edinburgh and 20 minutes from Dundee. Public car parks nearby.

St Andrews Aquarium has its very own fully licensed restaurant which offers a fantastic selection of hot and cold meals, snacks and refreshments during summer months.
If a meerkat feeding experience is purchased, it is advised participants wear long trousers
Marine themed gift shop sells everything from fabulous cuddly fish to curious cuddly meerkats. With a great range of educational and fun gifts it’s the perfect way to end your day at the Aquarium.
The centre unfortunately isn't safe for those in wheelchairs.
